By the end of the unit children will:
- Be more familiar with all three Mini Musicians songs.
- Have had opportunities to sing alone.
- Play simple chime bar melodies following colour and/or letter patterns.
- Demonstrate they can feel the beat by performing movements to music.
- Be introduced to rhythm syllables ‘ta’ and ‘te-te’ and begin to recognise these in songs, chants and music.
- Know the difference between beat and rhythm.
