  • Be familiar with all three Mini Musicians songs.
  • Have had opportunities to sing alone.
  • Play simple chime bar melodies following colour and/or letter patterns.
  • Demonstrate they can feel the beat by performing movements to music.

Classroom

> The 'questions' game
This is a simple call-and-response chant that helps the children think about themselves and respond (or not respond) accordingly, building their identity and helping them understand differences between themselves and others. Children only respond when the question applies to them. They stay silent if not.

Big Sing

> My voice is really funky
A funky call-and-echo song, describing some of the different ways we can use our voices.

> I've got feelings 
A song to help children name their emotions, and explore what happens to them physically when they feel a certain way.

> This is what it sounds like 
A simple warm-up song that gets us singing together, and exploring different sounds.
