An uplifting, traditional call-and-response song in fast and slow versions. The precise origin of the song is not entirely clear, but it is thought to come from the Solomon Islands, Polynesia, or Melanesia. ‘Tongo’ means ‘mangrove’ in several languages including Gela, Kiribati, and Tongan.
