By the end of the unit children will:

  • Be more confident with the rhythm notation for ‘ta’ and ’te-te’.
  • Be introduced to and become more familiar with the glockenspiel
  • To understand how the chime bars and glockenspiels are similar/different.
  • Have had the opportunity to sing and perform in small groups and individually
  • Improvise and compose short rhythm patterns and melodies using three notes
