On 13 March, over 64,000 singers all over the world were united in singing Beccy Owen’s One moment, one people. These singers embodied the message of the song, that great things come from working together and making positive connections. It was a joy to see so many teachers and schools promoting the value of singing by taking part. You can take a look at what schools got up to here.
Each year after the Sing Up Day celebrations, we ask participants to send us a video of their performance so that we can create an international Digichoir. This year, we were sent an incredible 105 videos from schools and choirs across 26 different countries. Have a listen to this year’s Digichoir below.
Thank you to everyone who took part this year and proved to us the enduring power of singing to bring school communities together. Make sure you join us next year on Wednesday 11 March 2020 for our next Sing Up Day celebration. More news coming soon…
